On the 15th February 2024 a Basildon and Phoenix team of 39 swimmers, 6 team managers and 3 coaches/teachers will set off on the clubs first ever swim camp.
We will be travelling to the 5 star Coral Beach resort in Cyprus to train at their outstanding Olympic swimming pool which served as a training pool for the British Olympic swimming team before the games in Athens.
With 12 x 2 hour sessions in the pool and 3 x 1 hour sessions in the gym over a period of one week the trip is sure to be a hugely beneficial training experience for the team. Hopefully with a little sun, fantastic all inclusive food and drink and a chill in the beautiful hotel this really will be a trip for the team to remember!
