Congratulations to BPSC swimmers Ciara Tappenden and Jess Oaten who traveled to Loughborough recently to compete in the GB Deaf Swimming Meet. We understand Ciara recently set new English Deaf Swimming records in the 100/200m Breaststroke resulting in her holding no less than four English Deaf Swimming national records (50, 100 & 200m Breaststroke and 800m Freestyle). BPSC Club Championships – 29th June to 7th July

The annual BPSC short course (25m) club championships will take place over four evenings this summer. All club swimmers are strongly encouraged to enter. This competition will replace training sessions on these days. All events other than 400m can be entered by all swimmers from Green hats and above. Some great races also in this morning’s heat session from our BPSC swimmers! May B was right on her pb in the heats of the women’s 100 free, swimming strongly to finish in 57.72! Evangeline P, in action for the women’s 200 back, was also right on her pb, touching home in 2:21.28!
