Essex Winter Swimming Championships

Basildon Sporting Village

28^th – 29^th October 2017

The swimmers from Basildon & Phoenix SC were in excellent form at the Essex Winter Championships which were held at the Basildon Sporting Village on the weekend of 28/29 of October. The long course competition comes after a 10 week period of training since the summer break and the swimmers achieved many personal best times on the way to collecting a huge haul of 14 Gold medals, 14 Silver medals and 11 Bronze medals. The club were clear winners of the Top Club Trophy when amassing 414.5 points. Runners up were Colchester SC with 168.5 points and Chelmsford SC with 130 points
