The second Bank Holiday weekend of May was the chance for the 14/Under Age Group swimmers to meet togther in Norwich to battle it out for the honours in the 2019 East Region Long Course Championships.
Following on from the great results for BPSC at Weekend One (15 and Over Age Groups), and the Reverse Distance events on 18th May, the younger age groups for Basildon and Phoenix Swimming Club showed they were also a force to be reckoned with.
In this ‘second’ weekend of the regional championships the swimmers from BPSC secured a total of eleven Gold, nine Silver and six Bronze medals plus many other swimmers making the ‘top eight’ finals.
After the last swim of this long weekend was over BPSC had held back the City of Norwich team to secure second place in the Top Club competition for the weekend.
