In a test of the depth of their swimming talent, the Basildon & Phoenix swimming club successfully competed in two simultaneous League competitions on Saturday 4th March. Congratulations to BPSC masters swimmers Martin ‘Stretch’ and Michelle Lane, who competed in the International Ice Swimming Association 5th World Championships this week. This event was held in Samoëns, a small town in the French Alps. After a busy couple of days Michelle and Stretch will be bringing back a few souvenirs! Well done both!

Basildon Phoenix have completed a National Arena League double in their senior debut appearance at the finals of the flagship club competition. The BPSC team were crowned B Final title winners as they pipped defending champions City of Cardiff to top spot in an exciting and extremely close final by 10 points.
