Simon Green from Birkett Long (pictured here alongside coach Sue Humphries and swimmers Jack Turrell and Henry Ferries) attended one of our very popular open galas at the impressive Basildon Sporting Village and met with our team of coaches and swimmers. The generous sponsorship from Birkett Long has already funded a much anticipated sport science nutrition seminar which took place at the end of November last year. This very enlightening presentation will enable our swimmers to see the performance advantage of eating the right foods at the right time for both training and competing.
